The Volkswagen New Beetle Ultimo coilovers are height-adjustable with CNC-machined locking perches, which allow you to easily adjust your ride height from 1 to 4 inches below that of the OEM suspension. This allows for a more aggressive stance and a lower center of gravity. In addition, you will experience an increase in the handling and performance of your vehicle while maintaining comfortable ride quality. The Volkswagen New Beetle Ultimo coilovers offer stiffer spring rates and shock valving to further enhance the performance and feedback from your suspension. Each coilover kit has been designed and road tested to achieve a perfect balance of street comfort and increased performance to enhance the stability and grip of your vehicle.
The Raceland New Beetle Ultimo shocks are perfectly matched to the included springs to achieve optimum damping abilities. The Ultimo shock body is powder coated for an extra level of surface corrosion resistance. The coil springs are epoxy powder coated to increase the life of the springs.

Rear – 240 lbs/inch
Height Adjustability: Each shock body is threaded for infinite height adjustments between the coilover kits drop range. Integrated spring seats and locking perch are CNC machined and threaded to work with the threaded shock body to achieved desired ride height.
Locking Perch: The addition of the locking perch allows for the spring seat to maintain a locked position at all times when driving. The lower perch is spun securely against the spring seat to ensure that once height adjustments are made, they are maintained through normal driving use.
Helper Spring: This coilover kit includes integrated helper springs in order to keep the main spring properly seated on the upper strut mount at all times. This allows the coilover to perform as it should over various road conditions with everything remaining in its correct operating position.
Tailored Fitment: This coilover kit has been specifically designed to mount to and use the OEM strut locations, in order to allow a perfect fitment with no modification necessary. The OEM-matched fitment allows for the vehicle’s suspension to work as designed by the original manufacturer.
